During this time she maintained focus on treble voices in choral music.  She conducted the treble choir at Lucy Cavendish College where she premiered “Four Rowing Songs” by local composer Susie Self. For her masters thesis, Amy transcribed a mass for treble voices by Baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier.  She later directed the American premiere of Charpentier's “Laudate Dominum” with Coon Rapids High School’s Bel Canto ensemble.

In addition to teaching, Amy loves singing collaboratively! She sang for 6 years in the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers under Philip Brunelle and Sigrid Johnson. She continues to sing occasionally with Ted at church events and sings a lot with Oliver and Elda at home! She is a member of NAfME, ACDA, MMEA, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Amy lives in St. Paul with her husband Ted, son Oliver, and daughter Elda.  She spends much of her free time with her family and friends. She loves traveling and is formed by the world and experiencing human interconnectedness.
